Many editing sites charge per hour, which can push up the price significantly. That's why I charge per 1000 words. My goal is to keep the editing price within reach for most authors. If you are a student please check the Students page. My price structure is straightforward, with no hidden charges:

 

Editing:

Proofreading: $4 per thousand words for proofreading, where most of the editing has been done. I will check for spelling, grammar and spacing errors, as well as continuity.

 

Line and content editing: $10 per thousand words for more complex work that will require significant editing.

 

Formatting:

Kindle conversion: $30 if your book has few images. If there are a lot of images the price is $50. 

 

Paperback conversion: $40 for a simple manuscript conversion, $60 for more complex manuscripts which include images and tables. 

 

Packages:

Simple kindle and paperback conversion $60 for both.

Complex kindle and paperback conversion $100 for both.
