ZORA'S DAWN

THE PREQUEL

This short prequel to the Defender series tells of Zora's childhood and explains a few aspects of Zora to the reader. While I could have added these into the books as I went along I felt that Zora deserved a longer explanation separate to the events unfolding in the series. It is not necessary to read this in order to follow the events of the books, but it does help the reader to better understand how Zora's childhood has shaped her personality.

ZORA'S DAWN

BOOK ONE

THE DEFENDER SERIES

One phone call is all it takes to change how Zora believes the world to be. Werewolves, vampires, witches and fairies are not just stories, they really exist. And Zora is now part of that world - to her dismay so is the man she would much rather avoid. Zora wishes a lot of things about her new life were not true. High on the list is her enforced closeness to Powers, a man she prefers to ignore. But number one on the list is is the murderous and slightly insane werewolf she must now track and defeat.

LETTERS TO MYSELF

The real life 50 shades of grey is not as romantic as it may seem - shades of grey yes, but shades of black too. Cassie seems to have everything - a charismatic husband, kids, a nice house. But things are never what they seem. Cassie is struggling to keep her identity in a toxic relationship with her husband.Charming and handsome he may be, he is also controlling, inflexible and a sex addict. Trying to please him in and out of the bedroom is gradually unraveling Cassie, who is in therapy. Something has to change, but it is not the change you might expect. Cassie didn't expect it either, and she is pushed into a new life and new challenges. Given a notebook by her therapist Cassie begins to write letters to herself, and it is in these letters that she discovers who she really is and what she really wants in life. Authors note: there are sex scenes in this book which I believe were necessary to illustrate how difficult life is for Cassie.
